The letter is still sitting on my table, ho hum.

Thinking a little abstractly (ha, ha) about Baudrillard and simulacra, along with other related bits of beginner postmodern theory I didn't care for when I first read about them three years ago. They seem highly attractive now though, when faced with a mere three weeks left of school before yet another study break.

Tell me, how did we end up here? How did we go from young and impressionable book-nerds and essay-writing freaks to cool kids who write letters they don't have the guts to do anything about and spend their days wondering about everything other than their course of study, however respectable their chosen course of study might be?
